Freebies!

Remember my previous post? I checked the website out again today at AIKOL's lab and i came across the "Bloggers Review Program". Note that i wrote my previous post even BEFORE ive realised this program. It actually rewards bloggers who writes about the website on their blogs by giving 50x 4R and 2x 8R photo prints for free! They are just a bunch of generous ppl, no?


Unfortunately, I am not qualified for the freebies because the this review program is only entitled for bloggers who have owned a blog for a minimum of 6 months and a minimum of 30 posts in their blog. The good news is, there is no limit ro this program so.. i can wait for another 4 months and write lots of entries in the mean time. :) Nevertheless, ive started editing pictures to be printed. Ill order a few photos this 1st time.. If the quality is up to my expectation, maybe ill put in orders in bulk.

I was browsing through www.oprah.com in the hopes of founding some inspiration on decorating my room. Then i came across www.snapfish.com that offers the service of online prints of photos. i checked it out and turned out that i cant pay for it because i dont have a credit card. (i have thought of stealing my dad's card but.. nah.) so, i googled 'online print'. Lo and behold, EOE! (que the heavenly lighting and choir)

So.. the great thing about this website is, it is in Malaysia. It offers the service on printing our photos that we upload to the site. cool huh? you wont believe the price for one 5R photo - RM0.50!!!!! the last time i checked, the cheapest i could get in ordinary photo shop is RM1 per photo. The delivery is RM5 for the first 100gm (1 piece of 5R is 6gm.. do the math.) But wait, delivery is free for orders RM35 and above!!!! God, isn't this the best? You just upload ur photo, pay it via maybank2u, 2 days later, ull get ur photos delivered to ur doorstep! (geez, EOE ppl..u guys should give me free prints for this ad)

im so excited, i cant wait to put my orders. since its 2:44 in the freaking morning and i have an 8am class tmrw, i guess i can bottle up my excitement and open it again after class..

Unemployment

I had the most fulfilling day on last Friday.. I dare say, the ultimate ME-day.

Today is the last day of the mid semester break. I dread returning to UIA after the long holiday but this is also the last time im feeling this way. No more midsem breaks. I cant imagine working after graduating. Cant i just be unemployed? I swear i will get bored of unemployment but till then, i wanna sit on my lazy ass, watching KBS all day long. Ah.. Bliss...

Come to think of it, approximately 2 months from now ill be leaving on the jet plane to Seoul. YEAYYYYYYY!!!!! (InsyaAllah) We don't even know if we will live another day but I really pray that Allah will let me live long enough to go to Seoul, work, get married, have lots of children, retire, grow old with my man and repay my parents' sacrifices. Amin.

First off, SELAMAT HARI RAYA. EID MUBARAK, everyone! Maaf zahir batin.. Kalau ade terkasar bahasa selama sy berblog ni, mahupun di alam realiti. :)

Eid 2009 was.. bittersweet. It's definitely unique and i wish next year's will be much better.. so much drama, so little time. thank god for that. i am now safe on my bed, in my room, in my apartment in USJ 1.

I went to beraya at Chep's place with Bonyo, Kamal and Kamal's new main squeeze. for that detail, please refer to Kamal. hehe. Mee Bandung mak Cepah mmg thooorrrbaek! sandwich adik Cepah pon sedap jugak.. Cookies Cepah laaagi sedap. hehe. Thanks for the lunch, Cepah. oh ye.. and we all got duit raya!!!!! 1st time dpt duit ry dr parents kawan sendiri bile da besar ni. hehe. korg, sila serbu rumah Cepah. ;p

Now that Ramadhan is over, 1 Syawal pon da lepas.. life goes on. During Ramadhan, a lot of things were put off just because "xnak la buat, nnt penat" or "nnt haus" or "nnt lapar sgt" or "nnt x larat". hehehe.. i know, i know.. itu semua alasan belaka but i cant help it.. so, ill HAVE to go to IKEA or anywhere for some storage stuffs. there are unopened boxes laying around my room, for God's sake. my room is semi-completed. at least i got the racks and the curtains done.. oh ye.. PP x siap lg. nak isi borang 14A and 16A tu liat bebenor.. *sigh* procrastination FTW!

i'll savour every minute of the last midsem break of my life. no more midsem breaks after this semester.. T_T

i am very very proud of Hottests all over the world. We are united by Park Jaebeom.
So, im calling for all of you to show your support in the form of a petition letter and the person mentioned above will help to convey them to JYPE.

It is true that every cloud has a silver lining. Jay's resignation from 2PM brought all of us together and the world can see how influential Jay is and how much people love him and 2PM, of course. The power of fans cannot be underestimated. Deepest gratitude towards NHottests who attended the "walk by" in front of JYPE in NYC and over 2000 KHottest who stood outside of JYPE in Seoul in the silent protest. All of these effort in bringing Jay back are actually making me feel a bit better. i can see hope of his comeback. Jay, 7-1=0.

Hi Jay..

I hope u are recovering in the arms of your loved ones. I would like u to know how much impact you have made in my life, though i am on the other side of the planet.

You have given me laughter when no one around me knew i was depressed. You and 2PM made my day brighter again when all i see was bleak sky. You gave me the reason to work harder in whatever i do when i saw u working hard towards your dreams.

I speak zero Koreans but thanks to the subtitled videos on Youtube, i was able to share the laughter with all the Hottests around the world. I used to think that it is useless to cry over someone who doesn't even know me but it all changed when i learnt the news about you leaving Korea and leaving your dreams in Korea behind.. That's when i knew how precious you are in my life. Believe me, you saved my life. my heart is hurting so much right now over what happened and i know my pain is incomparable to yours.

It breaks my heart to see you apologizing over and over again.. Jay, what happened was 4 years ago and it was your way to express your frustrations, living in a foreign country.. You apologized and that is all that matters now. Just to let you know, one of the people who wrote smack about you came forward and regretted his doings. see, jay? people dont hate you. Koreans love you, International hottests love you too!

A lot of petitions are going around right now, over 1600 000 people supports you, jay. and the number is growing. a lot of Korean celebrities showed support towards you and one of them is Boom oppa. He's your favourite hyung right?

Please don't feel like the world has turned its back on you because Hottests are right in front of you, to defend your honour and to love you infinitely. You are not alone. Your dongsaengs in 2PM and 2AM is hurt by what happened to you and they got ur back. We will continue to support you, 2PM and 2AM no matter what. We are not asking you to come back this instance but we are hoping that you will come back.. someday. We will wait for that moment patiently. Please stay healthy in Seattle and send my regards to your family.. Jay's Last Bow

Everything happened so fast. In 4 days, the career perhaps the life of a person is shattered into pieces. Jay really got on the plane and left us kneeling down on our knees, begging him to come back. I can't believe this is happening. wake me up from this horrible, horrible nightmare! Jay is one of a kind. i think he is the only one who can bow in times like this. Antis, you are making a huge mistake!

After a long, suffocating cry.. i think we all need to take a step back and look at the situation from another angle. Jay's decision (some says JYP forced him to resign but it's just a rumour) to leave the K-pop scene and return to Seattle should be respected. How do you expect to live in a country where 3000 people signed a petition asking him to commit suicide? The antis might think Jay is succumbing to their demands but i think he is giving the antis a taste of their own medicine. From this event, we can see how much he is loved in Korea and many are supporting him. Our tears are incomparable to the pain he is suffering.

Jay, find strength from your family and please come back when everything is a-okay! We will wait for you..

2PM, i hope you guys will stay strong.. comfort and encourage each other. This is not the end of your journey. Hottests is right behind you!

I know it is ridiculous to cry over someone who doesn't even know i exist, but Jaebeom's quitting 2PM really breaks my heart!!!!

K-pop is the nastiest business ive ever known.. Just because of 1 stupid mistake he made 4/5 years ago, the netizens are really unforgiving. Give him a break. He was just a trainee from America who came to a foreign land, spoke zip Korean to chase his dream to be a performer. He worked his ass off and proved that he is a force to be reckoned with. The netizens are obviously blowing things out of proportion.

Baek Ji Young once had a scandal over her sex tape, so did Ivy but they are bouncing back. Baek Ji Young recovered and made a successful comeback last year and Ivy is reappearing into the scene by the end of this year. Tiffany of SNSD was once despised by Koreans about how she is disrespectful towards her sunbaenims and she gave the excuse of not understanding the Korean culture having come from America too. People got over it, right? They hate easily and forget easily.

There is no excuse for Jaebeom to say "Koreans are gays.. I hate Koreans". Korea is a proud country and any insult is lethal to one's career. I just wish Jaebeom would not quit the scene too early. Boy, he is making a big mistake. I am sure that the scandal will die in time so the best thing to do is just to wait it out.. Come on JYP! Why are you letting go such a talented individual that you have helped to develop? This is the prime of his and 2PM's career and to allow this scandal to take away his dream is just plain STUPID.

Dear Jay,

I am truly sorry for what has happened to you. I know what you said was just a way to express your frustrations on the hardships you were facing as a trainee. You are a great artist and to give up your hardwork in Korea over 1 scandal is unbelievable. In November, I will be spending the winter in Korea, the 1st trip on my own. No. 1 on my to-do list, is to go to Music Bank and watch 2PM perform your new single. Please don't break my heart because 2PM will never be the same without you. Please be stronger and know that you are not alone. In front of 1 anti, there are 100 Hottests defending you and i am one of them. Please please please don't let us down. Things really do get better in time. Please come back..

Holy mackerel! it's september already? tibe2 rs im running out of time.. seriously, so many major things happening from this month on..

21/22 Sept - Eid Fitr
20 Nov - End of final semester, end of school life!!! InsyaAllah.. (damn.. im gonna miss skipping classes)
29 Nov - Off to Seoul, South Korea
28 Dec - Back to Msia, thus marks the start of job hunting.


Come think of it, ive been in love with k-pop for over a year now. Take that, people! For those haters who said "Eeee.. ape tgk cite korea ni?" "Best sgt ke mende2 korean ni?" "Ya Allah.. dah2 la suke tu." "alla.. x lamenyer. ull get over this phase." "u are obsessed with these korean stuff."- at least im going to South Korea. y'all be doing the same routine, in the same place, hating ur life. ;)

so, since campus life will be over soon.. im gonna savour every moment left. im gonna enjoy doing nothing and dont feel guilty about it. tp kene jugak belajar so i dont end up spending extra semester repeating a failed paper.. tp.. lepas raya boleh x? DO wake me up when September ends. ^.^
